The Prattler
Essex’s present Town Hall incorporates an earlier structure known as Pratt High School which served the town’s students between 1893 and 1952. From its early days, the high school named their literary magazine, “The Prattler,” featuring essays, poetry, biographies or daily observances for over 50 years. EHS’s archives safeguard those early issues as we offer a modern take on “The Prattler” with our own research and history column. Enjoy!
